People are unnecessarily hating on this GPU. Honestly, it is not bad at all and will play most titles before 2018 at 720p/1080p at high settings, which is understandable considering that this GPU was released in 2017. I have played Forza Horizon 3 and GTA V and I was able to play both games with high settings with a great frame rate. Ofcourse this GPU will lag slightly for games released in 2023 but for a budget gamer it is still very capable. I have been using this GPU since 2017, and I service my laptop myself regularly and the GPU works fluidly. People with overheating issues, just clean the dust from your cooling fans for once and undervolt both CPU and GPU. There will be a HUGE difference in both temperature and performance (for the better).

This an amazing card if you want to play on laptop without spending a little forntune. I just can't understand negative comments. Of course there are much faster cards nowadays, but my GTX 1050 Ti is serving me so well for an year and a half. I high demand games I just ajust reducing useless grafics functions that I doens't even care about.

For a budget option still capable ish. I mean, I finished RDR2 with it with ultra textures, anything else low-medium 40fps, Metal Gear Solid 5 maxed out 60fps constant. Definitely go for atleast a 1650ti or 1660 if you can. Anything above is a waste imo.

A good card with good performance. Unfortunately it overheats too much in my ASUS ROG FX753VD (It's probably a design flaw from the laptop, only one fan to cool down the CPU and GPU, both going up to nearly 90 degrees celsius before going in thermal throttling mode, decreasing the performance drastically.). I have the 4GB version which seemingly goes between the TI variant and the regular one in terms of performance.

The dark age of gaming laptops where a $2k laptop could have such a crappy GPU like this one... For $2k, a gaming PC in the same years would perform much better!

It's like boneless meat, got it 2 years ago, still works like a charm :›

Back in 2017 it was pretty decent for a $900 laptop. But in 2020 it has aged so poorly to the point where it will not be able to run any new title even at low settings. Unless if you have a time machine, just completely skip this card at all costs.

Good

It's actually a good card. It can play numerous games 2015-2016 games on 60 fps on Ultra. Even with its ups and downs, surprisingly it can run games like AC Unity, Call of Duty WW2, etc. The best games that this beast GPU can play is Overwatch at 100+ fps on Ultra with an i7 7700HQ. I suggest buying an Asus Strix GL553VE or anything that has this with an I7 7700HQ! It's awesome!

Use it with a I5-8300H cpu, 16GB ram and a SSD. I am very happy with this setup and can recommend it for !

Great for overwatch fortnite and a lot of others games

Excellent

Well, it shouldn't be in a 1000$ laptop but still an ok card. Can handle most of the games quite well.

Poor

Pretty bad for a $1500+ laptop.

Good

While overall a relatively mediocre card in the grand scheme of things, for what I do, it does what it needs to. At the cost of quality and appealing features of a newer title, this card does what it needs to, even now. Great for older titles, such as CSGO, League, Overwatch (lower settings), Minecraft, etc.

Poor

can handle a decent amount of games on low settings but is really not worth it. It lags on so many games including some of the oldest games it's horrible.
